ICCIE elective: Regulation of Captives; ICCIE core: Business Ethic in the Captive Insurance Industry

Ben Whitehouse is an attorney with the law firm of Butler Snow LLP and is based in Nashville, Tennessee. Ben is a member of the firm’s Regulatory and Government Relations practice group focusing on captive insurance and tax matters. Previously, Ben served as the attorney for the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance’s Captive Insurance Section.  His work included overseeing legal compliance for captive insurance companies applying for a Tennessee license or are already domiciled in Tennessee as well as legislative and regulatory updates.  He also proudly served in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s Corps and with the Tennessee Attorney General’s office.
