Andrew McComb

Andy has responsibility for the primary operating companies of Camlann Holdings Ltd. including the Allegro insurance management operations which provide reinsurance facilities, management, and consulting services in the offshore insurance, reinsurance and alternative risk transfer markets.  He has over twenty years experience in the offshore insurance industry and serves as a Director on the Board of a number of Bermuda insurance and reinsurance company clients and also as an Executive Committee member of the Bermuda Insurance Management Association.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Stoy Hayward & Co., London,  England he joined the Bermuda Office of Deloitte & Touche as an auditor of insurance, reinsurance and investment companies. From 1985 to 1994 he was employed in various capacities with subsidiary companies of Alexander & Alexander Services, Inc., serving as Managing Director of Alexander Insurance Managers Limited insurance management companies in both Bermuda and Singapore.

Prior to forming the Camlann Holdings group of companies, Andy was the principal officer and responsible for the development of Powerscourt Management Limited and Castlewood Risk Management Ltd.
