  • Cite some of the most recent tax rulings pertaining to captives
  • Describe the larger implications of these rulings
Program Summary: 

This session will dive into current tax topics affecting state and federal tax issues such as implications of the Microsoft and Costco settlements with the State of Washington, the Maryland decision regarding Leadville Insurance Company, and Johnson & Johnson in New Jersey.  Implications of the various cases on pooling arrangements will be explored, as will up to the minute decisions and rulings hot off the press in August.
