Oceana Yates

Oceana is a Senior Vice President of Davies Captive Management Limited and has over 20 years experience in the Bermuda Insurance Industry. She is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants and received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University. She is a member of the BDA Captive Focus and regularly speaks at industry conferences.

Oceana moved to Bermuda in 2000 to the Grant Thornton affiliate office, where she specialized in audits of captives and developed expertise in Bermuda law, investments and banking. She joined Davies in 2003 and over the years has helped manage numerous captive insurance companies. In her current role, Oceana is actively involved in the day to day operations and oversight of the management of approximately 20 Class 1, 2, 3 and 3A captives and segregated accounts companies.
