Michael Burdick

Michael, formerly with Johnson Lambert and Company, worked on a wide variety of commercial property-casualty insurers and reinsurers, captive insurers, risk retention groups, cell captives, and other alternative risk mechanisms. Michael spoke on alternative risk auditing topics. He is a former faculty member for the International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE), where he designed and taught two courses. Prior to joining Johnson Lambert, Michael worked in the accounting department of a publicly traded technology company.
Michael is a licensed CPA in the State of Vermont. Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Vermont Association of Certified Public Accounts. He is also a member of the Vermont Captive Insurance Association. Michael graduated Cumma Sum Laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from Champlain College, and regularly goes on campus to speak to accounting students about their future in the profession.
