Mat Robinson

Mat is a Senior Managing Director and the Operations Leader within Brown & Brown’s Captive Practice, managing the Vermont office. His responsibilities revolve around customer management and consultation services including oversight of fifinancial and regulatory reporting. Mat has over 24 years of insurance experience includingauditing captive and traditional insurance companies and captive management services. Mat has been providing captive management services since 2011 in a variety of roles. He joined Brown & Brown in early 2020.

Mat is a graduate of Siena College in Loudonville, New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting. Mat is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Vermont. He has been a speaker at VCIA and has written white papers on a variety of topics in the insuranceindustry. Mat has also served as VCIA’s Finance Committee Chairperson for 3 years and continues to serve as a member.
