Charlie Woodman
Charlie Woodman is Senior Vice President and Practice Partner for Willis Risk Finance. He is the practice leader for Risk Finance, a risk management advisory for strategic risk solutions and advanced risk finance including, captive insurance companies and self-funding mechanisms; alternative risk transfer arrangements; financial assessment and modeling; insurance regulatory, tax and financial accounting implications.
Prior to joining Willis, Charlie spent 13 years as a lead consultant in captives, alternative risk finance, an enterprise risk management at another international insurance broker. During his 20+ years in financial management and client advisory, he served as the Corp. Controller/ Vice President of Finance for an A+ rated property & casualty (re)insurer and as a senior tax manager (Big Four) in insurance and risk finance. Charlie is a frequent speaker on risk and finance, and has written articles on insurance tax, finance and accounting.
