Arthur Perschetz
Arthur Perschetz serves as counsel in Baker & Daniels’ insurance and finance services group where much of his practice focuses on forming captive insurers and risk retention groups and is recognized as one of the District of Columbia’s leading practitioners in this area. His experience in insurance-related regulatory and corporate matters and lobbying includes company and agency formations, acquisitions, sales and mergers.
Arthur also advises clients on corporate restructuring alternatives such as demutualizations and mutual holding company reorganizations. He is also experienced in matters involving redomestication and a wide variety of holding company issues. In addition, he counsels clients on bank insurance sales programs including Internet-related sales issues. Arthur has more than four decades of legal experience in the insurance industry. He speaks and writes frequently about captive insurers and risk retention groups.
