Program Summary:
In this session the panelists will discuss how analytics inform captive owners about how and when to optimize the use of their captives. Beyond usual and customary actuarial analysis of loss frequency and severity, the panelists will present how they determine how much risk to retain, when to retain correlated vs. uncorrelated risks and how they use analytics to look for improving and eroding loss trends to take advantage of market cycles.

 2. Learn to evaluate risk transfer versus risk retention
