The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) is proud to offer this webinar, “The Role of Analytics in Optimizing Captive Utilization” live from CICA’s 2017 International Conference.
In this session the panelists will discuss how analytics inform captive owners about how and when to optimize the use of their captives. Beyond usual and customary actuarial analysis of loss frequency and severity, the panelists will present how they determine how much risk to retain, when to retain correlated vs. uncorrelated risks and how they use analytics to look for improving and eroding loss trends to take advantage of market cycles.
1. Understand how to improve loss costs
2. Learn to evaluate risk transfer versus risk retention
