Program Content:
Innovation, in both the traditional and captive markets, has proved to be a critical differentiator in company performance in recent years. This has been driven for several years by the hardening market and was exacerbated further by the impact of the global pandemic on business since the spring of 2020. Insurers including group and single parent captives have responded with creative solutions to process, policy language/coverage, and procedure aided by the many tools available from the on-going Insurtech wave.
Panelists will look at the commercial lines of coverage written by captives (including commercial property, medical professional liability, workers compensation and commercial auto) which are well suited for rapid innovation in operational, claims, underwriting, and loss control applications. The panel will highlight success stories from a captive owner’s point of view and across the broader insurance market. Lastly, we will review the merits of the InsurTech and how judicious application of it can contribute to overall success.
