Dan’s tax services partner with Crowe’s insurance tax practice and serves local and national insurance tax clients. He is responsible for the execution and delivery of tax consulting and compliance services.

Dan has significant expertise in taxation of traditional property & casualty insurance companies, life insurance companies, and captive insurance companies. Specific areas of concentration include: Federal & State tax compliance, FAS 109 financial statement reporting, and SSAP 10 financial statement reporting; Fin 48 compliance; captive insurance company structuring.

Prior to his work with Crowe, he was a member of Deloitte & Touche’s national insurance tax practice where he consulted with numerous global and worldwide insurance and reinsurance companies. Dan is a Certified Public Accountant. He received a B.S. in accountancy, with high honors, from Teikyo Post University and is a member of the Insurance Tax Conference.
