Professor M. Michael Zuckerman, JD, MBA, ACI is an Associate Professor Instruction, at Temple University’s Fox School of Business, in the Risk, Actuarial Science and Legal Studies Department; and a consultant at MMZ Consulting LLC. In addition to educating the next
generation of Risk Management and Insurance professionals, he leads the department’s ERM initiative, which includes the development of ERM Executive Education.

He rejoined Fox full-time in 2012 from Aon, where he served as Managing Director and Alternative Risk Financing Practice Leader for the Health Care Industry Group. His industry experience includes insurance brokerage, consulting, and corporate risk management. Zuckerman’s research and consulting includes managing emerging risk issues; and the design, implementation, and operation of Captive Insurance Programs including the integration of captive insurance programs into Enterprise Risk Management. He is also an independent director for several organizations including EIIA, a Co-Founder of Promethean Risk Solutions, and a frequent speaker and writer on Alternative Risk Financing and ERM issues.

He earned his BBA in Accounting and MBA in Risk Management and Insurance from Temple University, and his law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School. He also holds the International Center for Captive Insurance Education Associate in Captive Insurance and Fellow in Captive Insurance professional designations.
